Matt Samson is the new Head Boys Volleyball Coach at Niwot High School (NHS). A Longmont native and experienced educator, Coach Samson is thrilled to lead the boys’ volleyball program.
Samson brings several years of extensive coaching experience in various sports, including volleyball, tennis, baseball, and track and field. His passion for the sport of boys’ volleyball is unparalleled—a fact demonstrated by his significant role as a large advocate for the sport to become CHSAA sanctioned.
Beyond the court, Coach Samson is a Social Studies Teacher within the St. Vrain Valley School District and holds a Master’s of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Emporia State University. He cares deeply about the overall development of his student-athletes, not just as players, but as well-rounded people, and is excited to translate success on the court into life lessons for his team.
