NHS Student Council is sponsoring the following activities!
Dodgeball
The dodgeball tournament is coming up on January 31st. The captains meeting will be held on Wednesday January 28th right after school in Mr. Duffy’s room. Captains be sure to collect and bring all money and permission slips to the meeting. Also, if you are not on a team be sure to come and watch!
Parents are welcome and encouraged to come! The entrance fee is 3$, and all proceeds will be donated to the charity, Heifer International. Heifer International’s mission is to work with communities to end world hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth. To learn more about Heifer International go to www.heifer.org.
Sadies Dance
The Sadies dance will be Saturday January 31st from 8:30 to 11:00pm in the large gym. The dance is costumed themed so please make sure your costume is school appropriate. Tickets will be on sale from Tuesday January 20th until Friday January 30th in the commons at A and B lunches along with at the door at the dance. Ticket prices will be $12 for a couple and $8 for a single. At the door the prices will go up to $15 for a couple and $10 for a single, make sure to bring your student ID’s to the dance!
Spirit Week
Spirit week will be the week leading up to the dodgeball tournament the days are:
Monday: Neon Day
Tuesday: Ugly Sweater Day
Wednesday: Mathletes vs. Athletes day
Thursday: Hippie Day
Friday: Flannel Friday
These will be on the announcements and posted around school if you forget!
