Bio
"I'm a proud Longmont native and St. Vrain Valley Graduate. I received my undergraduate degree Suma Cum Laude from UNC - Greeley and then my masters in Math Education from Montana State Bozeman. I've been teaching since 2009 and have been at Niwot High since 2012. I'm currently teaching Algebra 1 and AP Calculus. I am passionate about bringing the inner mathematician out in all my students and am proud to be apart of the Niwot High School community!
My husband Travis, also a SVVSD teacher, and I have been blessed to raise our two kids: Silas (3) and Charlie (2) as 4th generation Longmont natives (but no, we're not the 'farmer' Schlagel's). We enjoy all things CO: camping, hiking, 4 beautiful seasons, Rockies baseball and Broncos football. My heart is full of joy and I am so grateful, thankful and blessed."
