Jason Watkins is a founding member of CATTE (Colorado Association of Technical Theatre Educators), an educator and an active stagehand. As a technical director for over twenty years, he has overseen lights, sound and set design/construction for a mixture of theatrical productions including musical theatre, drama and dance. During this time, Jason earned his Master's Degree in Education, licensure in Administration, CTE Stagecraft and a Digital Arts certification. Jason is a diehard advocate for arts education and firmly believes in the incredible benefits and skillset that studying stagecraft provides to students of all backgrounds. He is keenly committed to equip and empower the next generation of technicians with the skills they will need to achieve vast success in the entertainment industry. When not backstage, Jason loves to read, create in his art studio, work with his hands, and watch sci-fi reruns. He is married to the best of wives and the best of women, Kim, and they are the proud parents of their beautiful son, Daniel.
