Teacher Bio

Mr. Blume is a Nebraska native new to Niwot in 2020 and is excited for the new Health/P.E. challenges ahead. He also serves as Niwot's Head Football Coach. In his free time you can find him lifting weights, watching football or traveling to Nebraska and Wisconsin to see his family.

Coaching Bio

Coach Blume comes to Niwot from Lutheran High School in Parker, CO where he taught Health/P.E. and coached Football and Track. Coach brings 17 yrs. of experience including stops in Nebraska, Wisconsin and the last 7 years here in Colorado. When asked why Niwot was a great fit for his next step he referenced the vision of Athletic Director Joe Brown. " Mr. Brown sold me on the pride there is in athletics here. They've done a lot of winning in a lot of sports but even greater I think is the idea that winning is our goal but not our purpose. That is something I've embraced throughout my years of coaching, putting a premium on building relationships. My staff and I are here to build players for their future after sports."
