At the SVVSD Board of Education meeting on 1/14/15, NHS Choral Director Mrs. Kim Watkins and senior Katie Gillett were granted the “Excellence in Education” award. This is given by the SVVSD Board of Education and Superintendent Dr. Don Haddad for outstanding contributions to education. Katie was honored for her perfect 36 on the ACT and Mrs. Watkins was honored for the difference she makes in her students’ lives. Way to go, we are proud of both of you!
