Please join us for the Parent Forum: The Promise and Perils of Technology where Principal Rauschkolb will share his plans for Niwot High School, and St. Vrain Valley School District’s CIO, Joe McBreen, will speak and answer questions about the district’s Learning Technology Plan, as well as how to balance technology at home and at school. Presenter Bio:Joe McBreen serves the St. Vrain Valley School District as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) where he is responsible for the Information Technology needs of over 30,000 students & 4,200 staff members in 52 locations. As a former classroom teacher, Joe’s focus is on the application of technology in pursuit of student learning and increased efficiencies. Joe has also worked as a technical trainer and system engineer for a broadband equipment manufacturer. He holds two Cisco certifications as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
