Hello! My name is Ken Benson and I’ve been teaching at Niwot High School for 17 years now. I currently teach AP Economics, Honors US History, and Personal Financial Literacy. I attended Colorado State University for my undergraduate degree In Economics and German and University of Auckland, New Zealand for my Master’s Degree in International Business. I sponsor 3 clubs: Investing Club, Aviation Club and World Wide Women Club.
My son graduated from Niwot last year and my daughter is a Junior this year. I play bass and sing in a band, belong to a community choir in Boulder, and spend time in the mountains as often as I can. I love reading and traveling.
