Meet a few of our outstanding 2016 graduates

This month, St. Vrain Valley Schools launches approximately 2,000 outstanding graduates into their future. Our students have a genuine love of learning and a strong personal investment in how they can make a difference in the world. Their integrity, drive and confidence is a testament to the unwavering support they receive from their families, communities, teachers, staff and elected officials. St. Vrain is incredibly proud to be serving such dedicated and engaged citizens through the delivery of a high-quality education that has prepared them for their next journey.

I Teach Because...

Think back to when you were a student, back-to-school shopping, finding your classroom, and the exciting lessons that would soon fill your day. The first day of school jitters that were calmed by the friendly, welcoming face, and celebrating the “ah ha” moments when you finally figured out how to solve the problem. Then there was the time in kindergarten, when you went to the restroom but couldn’t remember the way back to your classroom. As panic set in, that friendly face walked around the corner and they knew exactly where your classroom was.

Niwot High senior chosen as Boettcher scholar

Rohan Baishya, a senior at Niwot High School, is one of 42 high school seniors chosen for a Boettcher Foundation scholarship.

He plans to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder.

SVVSD Superintendent Dr. Haddad coming to NHS!

The Niwot Feeder System (NHS, Sunset MS, Burlington ES, Indian Peaks ES & Niwot ES) is hosting an informational night on Tuesday, April 26th from 6:00 - 8:00 in the Auditorium of Niwot High School.  Dr. Don Haddad, the Superintendent of the St. Vrain Valley Schools, will present information regarding the bond issue that may be on November's ballot.  Dr.

The second annual Niwot Student Film Festival now accepting submissions

Are your media students looking for a place to show their films?

New for this year, the Niwot Student Film Festival is extending an invitation to all middle school students as well as high school students across the district to enter films in the March festival. Students from all schools now have the opportunity to participate in this district-wide event.

NASA Project Scientist to speak at NHS on Thursday, October 15th!

I wanted to alert you that on Thursday, 10/15/15, we will have a guest speaker joining us at 2:30 PM in room 575. Her name is Dr. Cathy Olkin. Dr. Olkin is a planetary scientist at Southwest Research Institute in Boulder Colorado and is Deputy Project Scientist on NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto.
