Important Testing Information

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in Colorado take one of the series of Scholastic Aptitude Tests, the Colorado state assessments for high school. The SAT is a college entrance exam accepted by every college in the United States. The SAT/PSAT also informs students as to their current level of college and career readiness in regard to colleges and universities, military paths, and vocational schools.

Tuesday, April 9:  All juniors take the SAT during the morning beginning at 7:30 a.m.  We encourage students to arrive early at 7:15 a.m. Classes for all students resume at 12:15 p.m.

Wednesday, April 10:  All freshmen take the PSAT 8/9 and all sophomores take the PSAT 10 in the morning beginning at 7:30 a.m.  We encourage students to arrive early at 7:15 a.m. Classes for all students resume at 11:40 a.m.

TEST DAY SCHEDULES APRIL 9 and 10, 2019

Tuesday, April 9

11th graders test from 7:30 – 11:30

 

Lunch is available for all students at 11:30am and classes begin at 12:15pm.

All students have a shortened schedule from 12:15 – 2:30

Block 1 – 12:15 – 12:45

Block 2 – 12:50 – 1:20

Block 3 – 1:25 – 1:55

Block 4 – 2:00 – 2:33

Busses will pick up at normally scheduled times and again 4 hours later than normally scheduled time for students not testing on that particular morning.  

Wednesday, April 10

9th & 10th graders test from 7:30 – 11:00

Lunch is available for all students at 11:00am and classes begin at 11:40pm

All students have a shortened schedule from 11:40 – 2:33

 

Block 5 – 11:40 – 12:20

Block 6 – 12:25 – 1:04

Block 7 – 1:09 – 1:48

Block 8 – 1:53 – 2:33

Busses will pick up at normally scheduled times and again 3.5 hours later than normally scheduled time for students not testing on that particular morning.  

WHAT TO BRING and WHAT NOT TO BRING

-Calculator

-No. 2 Pencils (no mechanical pencils)

-Photo ID (Driver’s License or School Issued ID)

-Snack, Personal Water Bottle (if desired)

-NO Cell Phones or Electronic Devices

-No reading materials
