- I've taught many of the human sciences courses here at Niwot High School and am currently teaching Honors World Studies and IB Theory of Knowledge.
- I've been teaching at Niwot High School since the fall semester of 1998 when I helped initiate the International Baccalaureate Programme for the school district.

- I am married to my wife Angie and we have one son, Taylor James Rees. I enjoy swimming, hiking, cycling, reading, camping, cooking, and gardening and I never tire of teaching our fantastic students here at Niwot High School! After nearly a quarter century teaching here at Niwot High, I can attest that it is a fantastic school for both students and teachers!
