Environmental Science A/B

This course is designed for students who wish to apply past science course experience to environmental studies. Environmental Science carefully analyzes the various interactions between modern humans and their environment. The course develops the ecosystem concept and the basic laws that govern energy resources use. First semester stresses ecosystem management techniques. The second semester focuses on basic energy/resource use concepts, pollution sources and impacts, and energy alternatives. Laboratory investigations and field experiences will supplement all content.
