The first day of school jitters that were calmed by the friendly, welcoming face, and celebrating the “ah ha” moments when you finally figured out how to solve the problem. New for this year, the Niwot Student Film Festival is extending an invitation to all middle school students as well as high school students across the district to enter films in the March festival. Students from all schools now have the opportunity to participate in this district-wide event.

Dr. Olkin is a planetary scientist at Southwest Research Institute in Boulder Colorado and is Deputy Project Scientist on NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto.
The Senior Class Panoramic Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, September 29th at 10:00 AM in the gym. This is the ONLY time the picture will be taken of the whole Senior class, so please make sure your student is in school and on time for this special event. This summer has been a fantastic one for me, both personally and professionally. Last summer was very hectic, as my family and I moved here from Ohio and I hit the ground running in assuming the principalship here at Niwot High School.
