NHS Boosters is an ALL school Boosters club. Last year the Boosters granted over $23,000 to various clubs and teams including Forensics, Cheer, Baseball, FCCLA, Softball, Band, Choir, and Football. Accidents happen! The SVVSD Optional iPad Insurance Program for secondary students covers many of the costs associated with a damaged or lost iPad. This year, the cost has been lowered to $25 AND includes new levels of coverage. In May of 2016, Nutrition Services and School Wellness applied for USDA’s HealthierUS School Challenge awards for all of our middle schools and high schools that participate in the National School Breakfast and National School Lunch program.
The HealthierUS School Challenge: Smarter Lunchrooms is a voluntary certification initiative that recognizes schools creating healthier school environments through promotion of nutrition and physical activity.
