Pamela Lofgren

Hello! I was actually born in Longmont, not far from Niwot. Of recent, I have been in Longmont living with my
parents while tutoring and substitute teaching. Most of my professional experience has been as a bilingual
teacher; my last teaching job was as a kindergarten teacher in a PYP, dual-language school. My earlier
achievements include a bachelor’s in Spanish with a minor in art from the University of Northern Colorado, a
master’s in teaching English language from the University of Colorado at Denver (during which time I lived in
Costa Rica for eight months), a certificate in graphic design for the computer from Platt College, and I even
earned a pilot’s license in Boulder. My more recent endeavors include a certificate in translation from University
College at Denver University, and I am currently enrolled in an interpretation program from the Community
College of Aurora. I enjoy drawing, reading, going to the mountains, and spending time with family. I am super
happy that I will be teaching Honors Spanish 1 for this year!
