Want to learn how to effectively speak in public and think on your feet? Join Forensics, also known as Speech and Debate! Forensics encompasses not only public speaking and debating, but also acting (in the form of Interp, short for Interpretation). Forensics is a CHSAA and NSDA activity, so participants (affectionately known as Forensicators) can qualify for the state and national tournaments, as well as letter in Forensics.

Background Knowledge:

None, just a willingness to learn!

Commitment Expectations:

Participation in the class, weekly Saturday tournaments from October to March (must attend 4 tournaments per semester), occasional practices

Extra Info:

Forensics is both a class and club, so make sure to ask your counselor to schedule you in the Block 4 class! Also, note that this is NOT CSI Forensics, but rather Speech and Debate (dissecting language, not bodies).

There are no upcoming events associated with this club.
