Description of what club does:

Colorguard is a mixture of dance and flag work. During the fall we march with the marching band. We are an enthusiastic team of people who dance and work with flags. We are essentially the color and visual aspect of the music that is featured by the marching band. Being the visual of the marching band, we are filled with energy, enthusiasm, and character.

How much background needed:

No background needed!!! Colorguard is a sport so come in willing to learn, have fun, and work hard.

How much commitment is expected from someone wanting to join:

The winter classes during the winter is optional but great to try and see if you like colorguard and would like to join in the fall. We have practices twice a week during the summer if you can’t make a few of them you just have to contact the coach or captain. In the Fall season we practice after school on Wednesdays and thursdays and we have a colorguard class during school. We preform at every home football game at halftime and march in Niwot and Longmont parades.
